I suppose I'll take the first thread on the game dev board. As the title says, I'm making a penguin FPS in godot with an art style similar to a derpy 2000s shovelware game (but dw, I intend to make this game good unlike those games!). The game will have all traditional FPS gamemodes aka deathmatch, team deathmatch, capture the flag, king of the hill, etc, but what makes this game unique is instead of guns you have snowballs and instead of running you slide on your belly, and instead of fighting for your life in some war torn middle eastern country you're instead chilling in the arctic. The game intends to be for all ages and I ultimately I want this game to be good, dumb fun. The selection for gamemodes isn't final and I have considered others such as zombies and slide race, and the game is still very early in development with no build to share just yet but wanted to share to help promote the project and get some interest so yeah, hope what I've written up is somewhat interesting.
